Nollywood Actress, Lola Idije Clarifies Report Of Omoborty Snatching Daughter’s Boyfriend

Veteran Yoruba Nollywood actress, Lola Idije, has debunked the report of her junior colleague, Biodun Okeowo, better known as Omoborty, snatching her daughter’s boyfriend.

Naija News reported that a controversial Instagram blogger, Gislover, alleged that the curvy actress who tied the knot with her US-based lover, Adeniyi Olabiyi, in July this year broke the relationship between the man and Lola’s daughter.

The blog also alleged that the relationship controversy stopped many of Biodun’s industry folks from attending the wedding.

However, Biodun, in a video making the rounds online, debunked the allegation.

The Yoruba movie star stated that neither Lola Idije nor her daughter knew Adeniyi as they spoke to him for the first time through her.

She also admitted to claims that she took Lola as her mother after the death of her biological mother.

In a post via her Instagram page, Lola said Omoborty did not snatch Adeniyi from her daughter, stressing she would not have been at the wedding if such had happened.

She wrote: “I want to address the story going around since yesterday and to clear the air. The first time I ever spoke to Omoborty’s husband was when she introduced him to me on a phone call. I did not know him before that. None of my daughters know him personally. Biodun, aka Omoborty, did not snatch my daughter’s boyfriend. I attended the wedding. There is no way she would do that and I will still attend the wedding. Thank you and I hope this clarifies everything.”
