Recently, we stumbled upon an old video of Aishwarya Rai from Zee Cine Awards. The diva was dressed in a shimmery blue-hued gown featuring noodle straps and a body-hugging silhouette. She left her hair open and let a few flicks on her face. Aishwarya gracefully walked down the stairs, looking like an angel, and gave a short speech. The actress mentioned that she wasn't able to attend the award show the previous year, in which she was awarded twice.

Aishwarya took the opportunity to thank the audience in person and mentioned that she received the awards because of them. She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the organisers of the award show. Then, Aishwarya announced the name of the celebrity who won the Fresh Face of the Year award and called Kareena Kapoor on the stage.

In the next segment of the video, Kareena Kapoor was seen walking towards the stage to receive the award. However, she didn't look too pleased while accepting the award, and her body language proved it. Bebo appeared to be upset, and she almost snatched the mic after taking the award from the presenter, Aishwarya's hand. In her acceptance speech, Kareena said:

"I think I would like to thank Lux and Zee Cine Awards for giving me this honour, thank you."

Soon after the old video surfaced on the internet, netizens were shocked to see Kareena's behaviour towards Aishwarya. A section of netizens pointed out that Kareena was pissed because she lost the Best Debut award to Ameesha Patel, that too for a movie which she rejected. Meanwhile, some social media users also praised Aishwarya for her elegance, grace and poise.

Talking about Kareena Kapoor's rivalry with Ameesha Patel, the former created a buzz in the entertainment industry back then with her bold remarks. In an interview with Filmfare in 2002, Kareena opened up about not being a part of the hit film, KNPH, and shared that she is glad she didn't do the film. “The film was made for Hrithik. His dad spent five hours on every frame and close-up of his, whereas not even five seconds were spent on Ameesha. There are portions in the film where she has pimples and under-eye bags on her face. She just doesn’t look beautiful, but every shot of his was a dream. If I were in the film, I would have definitely got a better deal, but I still feel that the attention would have divided between us. So, I’m glad I didn’t do the film.”
