Vijay Varma is currently hailed as one of the promising actors in Hindi cinema. The actor is slowly carving his own path in the film industry, with some tremendous films to his credit. After graduating from the Film and Television Institute of India, Vijay has proved his versatility as an actor with films like Gully Boy, Darlings, Dahaad, Jaane Jaan, and many others.

After his debut in Chittagong in 2012, Vijay found recognition with the crime drama film, Pink in 2016. His role in the film was highly applauded, and since then, there has been no looking back for Vijay. But Vijay was worried about his negative roles in films, as he thought he would be typecast and people would perceive him like that in real life, too.

Vijay Varma on how girls reacted to his negative roles

“Lots of pretty girls and their mothers have told me they are scared of me, and it did bother me. The introduction of extremely diabolical men that I played started with Pink. It was a minor part, but I remember it vividly because it was an all-women screening. All the actresses were present, and I recall seeing people I had only watched on screen before.”
