Strictly Come Dancing's Johannes Radebe has offered a succinct three-word reassurance to a fan who expressed concern over his recent demeanour, suggesting he hasn't been his usual 'joyous self'.

The 37-year-old professional dancer is back on the dance floor this season, teaming up with Olympic sprinter Montell Douglas. The duo has been wowing both the judges and the audience with their dynamic performances.

Despite their success, some viewers have picked up on a change in the South African dancer's usual upbeat persona.

A concerned comment was highlighted by a fan on a Strictly Come Dancing fan page: "For those who have been worried about JoJo, he has responded to someone who asked that question on last night's Instagram post."

The original comment from a worried fan said: "Hope you had fun Johannes! You haven't been your usual joyous gorgeous self lately (on Strictly). Many fans have been concerned about you lovely," reports Birmingham Live.

Addressing the concerns directly, Johannes replied simply: "I'm okay darling." He elaborated further, saying: "Montel (sic) has been good to me and we're enjoying the dancing. Hope you're good."

In the previous week's Movie Week, Johannes and Montell delivered a Tango to One Night Only from the legendary movie Dreamgirls.

Their performance earned them a score of 28 out of 40, securing their place in the fourth week of the contest, where they are set to perform a Viennese Waltz.

During her recent chat on Strictly It Takes Two, Montell shared insights into the toughest part of her dancing journey.

She admitted that mastering the art of dancing in heels has been a significant challenge, explaining: "It's really tricky because I'm just not used to it. You have to think about choreography, dance and perform, where literally I'm holding on with my toes! I'm used to trainers, I live in them for the whole of my life. It's just finding the balance on these size 10 boots."

Montell has been candid about her battles with high heels before, describing the "pain" she endures with each performance.

In a conversation with The Mirror, she revealed: "The hardest thing is not the routine - it's the shoes! It's doing it in a shoe that wants to break your foot. The shoe is designed to give you pain, which she does very well actually."

"Especially because I'm just not used to it. I'm living in high heels. It's like a night out where you have to keep your heels on all night. That's what it feels like."
