There are certain groups of social welfare recipients that have been told that they are receiving their Budget 2025 double bonus early.

As the October Bank Holiday nears, payment dates have been changed, so people are being reminded that they won’t get paid on the previously confirmed date of 28 October and instead will be paid on Friday. 25 October.

This includes the October double payment, which is for people getting a long-term social welfare weekly payment.
