Ruth Langsford is all smiles with co-stars as she returns to This Morning sofa

The Loose Women anchor returned to her former stomping ground This Morning on Monday with her fellow co-stars to discuss 25 years of the hit ITV lunchtime panel show

Ruth Langsford was all smiles as she returned to the This Morning sofa on Monday.

The Loose Women host stunned in a silver sparkling gown as she was joined by her fellow co-stars Coleen Nolan, Olivia Attwood and Jane Moore to celebrate 25 years of the popular ITV panel show.

Ruth previously hosted This Morning with ex Eamonn Holmes every Friday before they were replaced by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary. Aside from guest hosting with Rylan Clark in 2022, Ruth now focuses her time spent in ITV on Loose Women.

The TV favourite swapped hosting for being a guest on This Morning on Monday and chatted all things Loose with current presenters Ben Shepherd and Cat Deeley.

Pointing to Ruth and Coleen, Ben said: "The two of you have been on it (Loose Women) from the beginning?" To which Ruth clarified: "And Jane."

"Did you think when you did that first ever show it would still be going 25 years on?" Ben asked.

Jane responded: "No it was only commissioned for four weeks - at the end of the four weeks we all went 'bye'. It was really lovely, what fun and then it got recommissioned and it just kept coming back."

The women also joked about wearing coordinated glamorous outfits to mark Loose Women's silver anniversary, with Coleen exclaiming: "I got on the train like this!"

This happy occasion for Loose Women comes after Ruth responded to a fan who questioned why she is still wearing her wedding ring, despite her split from husband Eamonn Holmes.

The once TV duo are in the process of divorcing but both have been spotted still wearing their wedding rings.

One person recently commented on one of Ruth's Instagram posts: “Why has she still got her wedding rings on? Xxxx”.

The ITV star decided to take the opportunity to address the question. She replied: “‘Because I’m still married!!”
