Their little dog Kevin has come home just days after the couple became are proud parents to a beautiful baby boy and welcomed their first child named Alfie.

In May, the model announced that she was expecting her first child with her rugby star husband, and shortly after the birth they shared that their dog had gone missing.

The posted a number of appeals for help in finding their beloved dog, who they got in June 2020 after moving in together during the pandemic.

On Monday evening, Conor wrote on his Instagram: “Anyone see this dog in Castletroy area in Limerick, please get in touch."

Thankfully he came home of his own accord on Tuesday,

"He’s home," Joanna said.

"Thank you so so so so much to everyone who helped look/messaged about him, I can’t tell you how grateful we are. That was absolutely terrifying.”

“He found his way back home himself past everyone who was out looking for him – I’ve never been so relieved in my life to hear this wee cry at the door."

The family are now all back together again, with Conor sharing previously that having a dog has been "brilliant."

Conor had told The Independent how his other half pestered him for weeks about getting a puppy until he eventually caved.

"He's been brilliant, even just getting out of the house and going for a walk with him and getting that bit of headspace is lovely. He's been a great new addition to the place," he told The Independent previously.

"He messes the place a little bit more than I'd like but you have to give and take a little bit. His name is Kevin, there's no explanation behind that; we just went for a human name," he added.

The couple announced their new arrival, baby Alfie, with a gorgeous Instagram photo.

The black and white snap saw the newborn baby lying down in a blanket, with his little hands wrapped around Conor and Joanna's fingers.
