Exact day full week of dry weather may hit Ireland as Met Eireann sees ‘drier than average rainfall’

Ireland is forecast to get a full week of dry weather according to the latest weather models.

Maps show the country mainly avoiding any large downpours or storms as October ends and November begins.

Met Eireann looked ahead and found that there are signals that high pressure will dominate our weather soon, resulting in “drier than average rainfall” for this time of the year.

Weather maps from WX Charts, a weather forecasting website, showed dry conditions kicking in from Tuesday, 29 October and lasting until Monday, 4 November.

It should be noted that weather forecasts exceeding 10 days are subject to change and are much less accurate than dates closer in time.

Met Eireann found that these dates are likely to bring more settled conditions too.

Between Monday, 28 October to Sunday, 3 November, it is indicated that there is high pressure centred to the southwest of the country dominating our weather.

They wrote: “This will bring more settled conditions with drier than average rainfall across the country. Mean air temperatures in week 1 look to be normal for the time of year.”

Moving into the next week, Monday, 4 November to Sunday, 10 November, there is a slight signal for high pressure to continue to dominate our weather.

Met.ie continued: “There is very little change indicated this week, again mean air temperatures are signalled to remain normal for the time of year, while rainfall continues to signal drier than average across the country.”
