Suspicious electronic device found in Delhi's Palika Bazar, probe underway
The Delhi Police said legal action will be taken against the shopkeeper after verification of the device is conducted.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Devesh Kumar Mahla explained, "Our teams are conducting thorough inspections of shops, hotels, and other public areas in preparation for the festive season. During one such check, a team discovered a suspicious device in the market."
Upon investigation, the device was identified as a mobile network jammer and was promptly confiscated by authorities. "We are adhering to all Standard Operating Procedures to verify the nature of this device," Mahla added. "We urge the public to immediately alert the police if they come across any suspicious objects or items."
