Israel 'checking' if Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar killed
Statement comes after fresh airstrike in Gaza
by AFP · Gulf NewsThe Israel army has said it is 'checking' if Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar has been killed in a Gaza strike.
In a statement, the Israel Defence Forces said the identity of "three dead terrorists" had yet to be confirmed.
"In the building where the terrorists were eliminated, there were no signs of the presence of hostages in the area," the IDF added.
