Police search launched for missing 13-year-old girl last seen in Newcastle
Northumbria Police is appealing for help to locate 13-year-old Jessica Mattinson
by David Huntley · ChronicleLiveA police search has been launched for a missing teenage girl who was last seen at Newcastle Quayside.
Officers are appealing for help to locate 13-year-old Jessica Mattinson. Jessica, who is from Gateshead, was last seen heading towards the Quayside area of Newcastle city centre at about 9.15pm on Friday, October 4.
However, she has not been heard from since – as officers and family grow increasingly concerned for her welfare. Police have appealed for anyone with information on Jessica’s whereabouts to get in touch immediately.
She is described as a white female, around 5ft 4in tall, of medium build, with long mousey blonde hair. Jessica was last seen wearing pink leggings and a cropped hoody with white slider shoes – as pictured in the CCTV image.
She has links to both the Gateshead and Newcastle areas. Jessica, or anyone who knows where she might be, should contact Northumbria Police by sending a direct message on social media or using the live chat function on the Force’s website.
