Crvena Zvezda started the season with three wins and an overtime loss to Barcelona. However, Real Madrid wanted to prove that they had found themselves and the result was a 20-point win.

The final score was 95-72 as Real Madrid and Zvezda are now tied with a 3-2 record in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague standings.

Dzanan Musa scored 17 points, Facundo Campazzo had 13 plus six assists, while Edy Tavares and Eli Ndaye added 12 points each.

I hope so. We are trying to work hard to play at a high level, like we did tonight. They are a great team with so much danger in every possession. I know that Nedović and Bolomboy didn’t play, but I think we played a solid game. We are working to keep playing this way. We have two tough games coming up, and we need to focus our energy on that,” Campazzo said after the game.

Milos Teodosic returned to action and scored 11 points for Zvezda, but the Serbs were missing their injured starting center Joel Bolomboy and newcomer Filip Petrusev was not available for the game.

Total domination

Real Madrid set the tone early, leading by 12 in the first period (22-10) and by 17 at halftime (46-29).

Zvezda was just going with the flow, not being able to get stops.

Even in the third period, when the game was balanced, the partial score was 25-25 and the two teams entered the last quarter with nothing changed in the big picture.

Madrid was leading by 20 (74-64) after the first shot of the final period, made by Dzanan Musa, and they even stretched their advantage to 28 points (93-65).
