Lily Allen gave her striking Bowie-esque red mullet its first outing as she attended the Giorgio armani Spring 2025 fashion show in New York City.

The Smile hitmaker, 39, stunned as she stepped out for the show and afterparty at Park Avenue Armory on Thursday evening.

She showed off her abs in a tiny black bandeau, which she paired with high-waisted velvet balloon trousers.

Lily layered up with a striking black and silver sequin cropped jacket, which was adorned with feathers, and sported a pair of stilettos.

She showed off her new fiery red locks and choppy fringe as she bundled her hair into an up-do.

Lily was joined on the front row for the show by American socialite and model Nicky Hilton Rothschild.

Her appearance came mere hours after she channelled her inner David Bowie as she debuted the red mullet hairstyle.

Lily bore an uncanny resemblance to David's alter ego Ziggy Stardust with her striking new look.

Mother-of-two Lily ramped up her auburn locks and went for the chop, inspired by the legend himself.

She captioned her post: 'Getting Ziggy with it. Thank you for having me last night. Always a pleasure.'

The Life on Mars singer was well-known for his bold style both on-and-off the stage, with Ziggy Stardust, being his most recognisable look.

The character of Ziggy was an omnisexual alien rock star, with David's fictional plot following humanity's final five years of existence, with a wild Ziggy arriving to deliver a message of hope.

His studio album, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, tells the story of the fictional rockstar, who is ultimately destroyed on stage by his own fans.

Lily recently sparked concern from her fans after she showed off her slender frame in a revealing dress to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Chiltern Firehouse earlier this month.

The actress put on a daring display as she stepped out for the party in London while donning a strapless, sheer Aadenvik gown.

But when she shared images of herself posing in the racy ensemble on Instagram afterwards, many of her devoted supporters expressed concern about her weight.

According to News.com.au, the comment section of her post was flooded with messages from 'worried' users, who begged her to 'look after herself.'

'You’re beautiful but I’m worried, are you OK?' one person asked, per the publication.

'Please look after yourself,' said another.

Lily has since turned off all comments on the post.

One of the snaps showed the pop star posing for a mirror selfie in the intricate white gown, which she paired with tan underwear, a sparkling belt, and silver Jimmy Choo stilettos.

Another image featured her staring seductively at the camera with her hand on her hip.

The whimsical dress, which included a boned corset, floral applique, wispy feathers, and a thigh-high split, left her shoulders and long legs on full display.
