A baby girl has been found alone outside in her diaper while her parents went to a strip club in Miami.

The two-year-old child was found wandering by herself by security guards as they did their rounds along a South Beach building on Thursday at around midnight.

Miami Beach Police officers soon arrived at the scene and found the barefoot child gripping a baby bottle, dressed in just a t-shirt and diaper.

After trying to locate where the baby had come from, authorities discovered that her parents, Daryl Lamont Lentz, 40, and Ciera Hurd, 36, had left behind three other children who were found sleeping inside a room.

The parents told CBS News they brought their family from Maryland to Florida so they could celebrate Lentz's birthday.

After about four-and-a-half hours at Club Madonna, police tracked down and arrested the parents for abandoning the toddler and their other children, aged 12, 11 and five.

The moment the baby was found was captured on police body cam footage as officers opened a gate connected to the building and found the toddler.

One of the officers, Brandon Miller, crouched down and asked the child: 'Are you OK mama?'

The little girl then inched closer to him as he put his arms out.

He then asked the girl where her mom was as the baby looked at him while holding the bottle in her arm.

The cops then asked the guards what they saw when they found the abandoned child, as one of them said she gripped the gate as if she was trying to get out.

'Mama, mama, mama,' a security guard recalled the little girl saying.

In another clip, Miller was seen picking the girl up and they searched for where she came from.

Soon enough, they discovered an open door on the third floor of the apartment complex and found the parents' three other children asleep.

Shortly after finding the children, the Miami Beach Police Department posted a heartwarming image of Officer Miller holding the two-year-old in his arms to their Instagram.

'As investigators attempted to locate the parents, Officer Miller’s nurturing instincts kicked in — as he attentively comforted the child, eventually soothing her to sleep,' the department said.

Lentz said that before he and Hurd went to the nightclub, where they 'engaged in festivities with employees,' he told their oldest to lock the door behind them.

The father claims the children were only left alone for 30 minutes, police said.

After leaving their children to fend for themselves, the couple (pictured) said they regret their decision.

Meanwhile, Hurd said all of their kids were asleep before they left for the night.

After leaving their children to fend for themselves, the couple told CBS News they regret their decision.

'Yeah, we're definitely not doing it anymore,' Lentz said.

'Yeah, we will, never, ever do that again,' Hurd chimed in.

Both of them were arrested and taken to jail, but were later released, according to records. They face four felony charges each.

All of their children were taken to the Department of Children and Families, as Lentz and Hurd have promised to fight to regain custody.

A judge is currently allowing them to have contact with their kids, but they remain in state custody until their next hearing on Tuesday, the outlet reported.
