Wynne, also made some surprising admission ahead of his performance.

The Welsh opera singer, 52, shared the 'weird' tattoo his dance partner Katya Jones gave him during rehearsals.

Following the controversy surrounding 'wandering hand' incident earlier this month, the performer explained that Katya has gone to new lengths to remain positive.

Wynne explained that although he didn't believe in the supernatural, he had had a peculiar experience with his latest body art.

He said: 'Katya put a temporary tattoo on my hand yesterday.

'She put the sticker on then you put water over it and then she took it off and there was nothing. We were like "oh well that hasn't worked, has it?" then this morning I was in the shower and the tattoo with the writing saying: "you are enough" came up on my arm.

'I thought it was weird.'

Wynne's admission comes after the star found  himself in further controversy after a 'vulgar' joke he reportedly made behind-the-scenes has been 'leaked'.

The opera singer, 52, who has recently been caught up in a 'wandering hand' incident, is reported to have quipped that his double chin resembled female genitalia as he got his make-up done backstage.

Insiders claim that Wynne made the unsavory joke ahead of the BBC contest's glitzy launch show and was said in a private conversation with a make-up artist.

A source told The Mirror: 'It was a bit of a vulgar dad joke.'

The publication states that at least one other person was in the room at the time, adding that the make-up artist was not offended by Wynne's joke.

It is said that while formal complaints were made, staff members were not amused.

The insider went on to add: 'Wynne clearly didn't mean any offence, but you have to be a little bit careful these days.'

Despite the controversy, the stars have been getting in to the Halloween spirit and Chris McCausland (pictured) revealed that one of his biggest fears his seafood

A friend of Wynne's is said to have claimed that Wynne's cheeky comment was 'a slice of self-deprecation' and said confidentially to the make-up artist while others were present.

MailOnline have contacted representatives of Strictly and Wynne for comment.

The alleged joke came weeks before the Welsh singer and actor was embroiled in a 'wandering hand' incident with his professional partner Katya Jones.

Despite the controversy, the stars have been getting in to the Halloween spirit ahead of Saturday's live show by sharing the worst fears.

Chris McCausland revealed that one of his biggest fears his seafood.

He said: 'I can't get on with things that look like they did when they were alive and you've got to eat them.

'I imagine them worse than what they look like. Give me anything in a steak and I'll eat it but like mussels I can’t get on with.

'I can't stand flying either actually. I'm a nightmare to sit next to.' he said.

'It's just the not knowing if we’re going to crash. I think if I knew we were going to crash I'd be alright but it's the not knowing so with every bit of turbulence, I can't see the calmness around me, so I'm on edge all the time and I can't relax.

'I'm always knackered by the time I get anywhere.'
