Aldi launch new shower gels - almost 90% cheaper than luxury brands

Fans of Aldi's popular Lacura health and beauty range are treated to two new Philosophy and Lush shower gel dupes just in time for the upcoming festive season. 

Shoppers across the UK can treat themselves for less this Christmas, as the German retailer has launched two sweet-scented shower products that are almost 90 per cent cheaper than its premium counterparts.

The brand new Sweet Maple Shower Gel will be joining the Lacura range from November 14, and it closely resembles Philosophy's popular Morning Maple Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath. 

A 480ml bottle of Philosophy's 3-in-1 wash - which features warming notes of maple, cinnamon and waffle - currently retails for £16 on Look Fantastic. 

Meanwhile, a 500ml bottle of Aldi's new dupe, enriched an enchanting aroma of Sweet Maple and Ginger extract, is available for just £1.79.

This makes the shower gel a whopping 89 per cent cheaper compared to its premium rival, meaning shoppers don't need the to break the bank for a touch of luxury this Christmas.

The Sweet Maple body wash is dermatologically tested, and contains over 90 per cent naturally sourced ingredients, making it a great eco-friendly option for sustainable shoppers. 

Additionally, Lacura fans will be pleased to hear of the return of Aldi's bestselling Sweet Angel Body Wash, also available from November 14.

The body wash - which offers a delightful blend of strawberry extract and nourishing moisturisers - bears a striking resemblance to Lush's bestselling Snow Fairy range. 

The cosmetic giant's Snow Fairy range features candy-cane scented products, with a 275g bottle of Snow Fairy shower gel retailing for £15, while a 520g bottle goes for as much as £23. 

However, Lush fans have been flocking Aldi to experience the creamy body wash for less, with a 500ml bottle of Sweet Angel Body Wash available for the wallet-friendly price of £1.79. 

Shoppers went wild for its initial launch last Christmas, with one saying 'the scent is lovely’ and 'it’s well worth a go.'

With savings of 92 per cent compared to Lush, shoppers can indulge themselves for a fraction of the price this festive season.
