Adam Sandler to star in Happy Gilmore sequel for Netflix

While best known for his chart-topping music career, Bad Bunny has already ventured into acting, with roles in films like Bullet Train (2022), My Spy (2020), and F9: The Fast Saga (2021).

The three-time Grammy winner, who was linked romantically to Kendall Jenner earlier this year, also starred in the final season of Narcos: Mexico as Everardo Arturo 'Kitty' Paez.

Outside of film and television, he has made a name for himself in professional wrestling, even making his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 37.

In addition to the I Like It hitmaker landing a role in the sequel to the iconic 1996 sports comedy, Taylor Swift's boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is also expected to make a cameo.

Recent reports have indicated that the 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end has been in regular conversations with Adam Sandler, discussing his participation in Happy Gilmore 2.

While details about his character remain under wraps, this marks Kelce's first significant foray into Hollywood as he aims to establish a name for himself beyond the football field.

During an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Sandler confirmed that filming is slated to commence in the coming weeks, with Kelce actively seeking guidance on his role in the film.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Travis Kelce aims to become a household name akin to Dwayne The Rock Johnson, with his PR team crafting a well-thought-out strategy to propel him into the Hollywood limelight.

The NFL star views his role in Happy Gilmore 2 as a pivotal opportunity that could open doors to further acting ventures, fueling his determination to excel in this new chapter of his career.

On a recent episode of his and brother Jason's New Heights podcast, Kelce spoke about his desire to appear in the Happy Gilmore sequel as a huge fan of the first movie.

'Man, I didn’t even know there was a job opening. I'll be a f***ing extra, anything to get around Happy Gilmore, an Adam Sandler film or set - count me in.'

'I'll do anything in the movie. I’ll be part of it any way I possibly can.'
