An iconic 90s sitcom star looked unrecognizable while sporting a scruffy beard during a lowkey outing in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The actor is no stranger to the world of television - and appeared on a hit NBC series which aired for a total of nine seasons, with the last episode premiering in May 1998.

The star has garnered various award nominations throughout his Hollywood career thus far, and won the SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series 30 years earlier.

He showed off his trim frame while strolling through a parking lot during the daytime excursion - after celebrating his 65th birthday on Monday, September 23.

But can you guess who it is?

The actor is none other than Jason Alexander - who notably portrayed the character of George Costanza on the NBC series, Seinfeld.

The show - which was created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David - also starred Jerry, Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Elaine) and Michael Richards (Cosmo Kramer).

Jason Alexander once became 'furious' and threatened to quit Seinfeld

Alexander stepped out in L.A. donning a pair of black pants as well as a plaid shirt that was buttoned at the front.

He layered the ensemble with a dark purple vest that was left unzipped, and also slipped into a pair of comfy, black sneakers.

Jason completed the outfit by adding a flashy, silver watch on his left wrist and sported a pair of black-rimmed glasses.

The Pretty Woman actor enjoyed a coffee run and was seen exiting Starbucks while carrying a warm drink and a snack in his other hand.

Earlier this week on Monday, Alexander rung in his 65th birthday and previously opened up on the topic of aging.

During an interview for The Thread a few months earlier in June, the star expressed, 'I've become more jealous of time as I get older, because I know there is less of it.'

'There's nothing left that I need to do, although there's a lot of things that I'd like to do,' he further explained.

Jason later added, 'I find these days, more and more opportunity to be of service, to use the mindboggling and disproportionate blessings I've had in my life and somehow pay it back and pay it forward.'

'The only thing I'm greedy of when it comes to time is I want to see things. I want to see my grandson as an adult. I want to know what he thinks - what he chooses to do with his life.'

Alexander continued, 'I am curious to see my friends through to the end and my family through to the end, and to be there in any way I can...'

Along with appearing in Seinfeld, Jason has taken on other roles over the decades, such as in Pretty Woman alongside Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, and also Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Back in May, his former co-star Michael Richards revealed that Alexander had threatened to quit Seinfeld during its third season over not receiving enough screen time.

In his memoir, Entrances And Exits, Richards expressed that Jason did not appear in an episode titled, The Pen, and while he had accepted not starring in the episode with 'equanimity,' he had also been upset.

'Jason threatens to quit after learning that he's also not in the episode. He's furious,' Michael wrote, per Page Six.

'Jason came onto the show with the most confidence of anyone. He had won a Tony Award on the New York stage, not an insignificant achievement, and until the table read for The Pen he has assumed that Seinfeld is a buddy show, starring him and Jerry.'

Richards added, 'But this business breeds both massive egos and incredible insecurity, and this episode is one of those ego-jarring wakeup calls.'

Michael then recalled not being written into an episode titled, The Chinese Restaurant - which aired during the show's second season.

'I sit at the table without uttering a single word, and this is because not a single word has been written for Kramer.'

And late last year in November during an interview with Extra, Alexander shared his thoughts on rumors of a Seinfeld reboot.

'There is only one reason for that rumor,' the actor told the outlet. 'Apparently, at the end of some stand-up thing, [Jerry] went, "Larry [David] and I are thinking of something."'

'Good for you. I don't know anything about it…No one called me. Apparently, they don't need George and they may not need Elaine 'cause Julia [Louis-Dreyfus] and I went, "Do you know anything about this? I don't know anything about this."'

He added, 'And I just talked to Michael [Richards] the other day and I don't think he knew anything about it.'

Opening night will take place later this year on November 9 at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.

Jason will portray the role of Tevye in the production, and other cast members that are slated to join him include Valerie Perri, Rachel Ravel, Alanna J. Smith, Emerson Glick, Cameron Mabie, Remy Laifer and Ron Orbach.

Lonny Price - who will direct the revival - said in a statement: 'Fiddler On The Roof is one of the undeniable masterpieces of the American musical, and it has been a dream of mine to direct the show.'

'And to think I get to work with my old friend Jason Alexander on this extraordinary piece really is a dream come true. I can think of no other actor more perfect to play Tevye, and I believe he will redefine the role (and the show) for a new generation!'
