Woman cheated of lakhs of rupees in Bajaria locality

A 32-year-old married woman was duped to the tune of lakhs of rupees in the name of police raid to arrest her husband at Bajaria area;  the accused asked her to shift her gold jewellery and cash and escaped.

The whole matter was revealed when the husband reached home at night. The police have registered a case against the accused youth in this matter and started looking for him.

According to SHO Jitendra Gurjar, Shailaja Kumari (32) lives at  coach factory. Her husband works in the railways. On Saturday afternoon, the woman was alone in her house during which a miscreant came and told her that the police were looking for her husband, and they were going to raid the house.

The woman got scared on hearing this. Not only this, the accused youth told her to take out the jewellery and cash and keep it somewhere else. Because the police will raid and take away the jewellery with them.

The terrified woman took out the stuff and when she tried to take  it to another place the miscreant said that the police would be coming and she should hand over the valuables to him. When the terrified woman gave the stuff to him, the miscreant took the opportunity and escaped, when the husband came home at night, the woman told him the whole incident and reached the police station late at night.
