Fear of losing her lover, 24-year-old girl ends life by consuming poison

Depressed over father's rejection to allow marriage with her lover, a 24-year-old girl committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance near Old Vidhan Sabha area; Arera Hills police have started investigation.

Investigating Officer Ram Singh Parihar said that the girl committed late in the night on Friday. Earlier, a man from Gwalior contacted her father that he wanted to marry her daughter with his son which infuriated the father of deceased and he told never to call regarding the matter.

The deceased identified as Kiran Prajapati was scolded by her father Babulal after the call. Later in the night she consumed poisonous substance and when she was taken to hospital, she was declared dead.

Kiran after graduation used to operate a beauty parlour at house. The details of youth and his family who lives in Gwalior remained unclear and would be investigated.

After the preliminary investigation police have registered case and started investigation.

During the investigation police found that the youth's father from Gwalior shared that his son is not willing to marry any girl and is interested in marrying Kiran. The two were acquainted, developed relationship and wanted to marry is not clear yet and would be investigated in the further probe.

Meanwhile body of an unidentified man in the age group of 25 years was found under suspicious circumstances at Kaliasot Dam on Friday.

In the morning on Friday body was spotted by locals and police were informed regarding the body.

On the receipt of the information police team rushed to the spot and started the further investigation. The identity of the deceased could not be established and investigation has been started to reveal the reason behind the death.
