Suspicion over ANM nurse death

A 32-year-old ANM nurse died under suspicious circumstances in the Ayodhya Nagar area on Wednesday, suspected cardiac arrest is the cause of death, said police.

In the investigation it was found that the deceased Sheetal Bairagi came out of the bathroom after taking a bath, suddenly felt dizzy and fell unconscious. The family immediately took her to Jindal Hospital where the doctors declared her dead. Doctors have suspected death due to cardiac arrest.

According to the information, Sheetal Bairagi who lived near Jindal Hospital in Ayodhya Nagar used to work as an ANM nurse in the ITI dispensary located in Ward 68 since 2021. Sheetal, hailed from Betul and married 7 months ago.

According to Ayodhya Nagar Police, the body was sent to Hamidia Hospital for postmortem. After the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family. However, the police are investigating the matter by registering a case.

Sheetal's brother Deepak said that when she was taken to the hospital, it was found that she probably had a heart attack. However, the correct information will be revealed only after the postmortem report.
