Man arrested for molesting his minor step-daughter

Nishatpura police have arrested a man for molesting his 12-year-old step daughter; victim was molested on September 21, after which the mother of the minor girl complained about this matter in Nishatpura police station on September 30.

After the complaint, both the mother and the girl were counseled, and the accused was taken into custody.

Sub Inspector Richa from Nishatpura police station said that statements have been taken. The accused will be produced in the court.

According to the police, the minor's mother had recently married for the second time, she did not live in her in-laws' house, the accused used to visit the woman at her maternal home, on  September 21 the accused stepfather had come home, the mother saw him molesting the girl, on protesting against which the accused also beat the mother and the girl.

After which on September 30 the police came and complained about this matter. After which the police came to know in conversation with the girl that he has done this before as well. The crime record of the accused would be investigated.
