Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo updated to Version 2.0.0 (patch notes)

· My Nintendo News

Yes, you read that headline right. It seems that Nintendo’s new alarm clock is going to be able to receive software updates of some kind, even though Nintendo Sound Clock: Alarmo was only announced today, is only currently available at the Nintendo NY store and for American and Canadian Nintendo Switch Online members, and isn’t slated to launch fully until early 2025.

Nevertheless, the alarm clock has received an update, putting its software at version 2.0.0. There are even official patch notes for the update, which reveal that is a new mode, a new Records feature and more. Of course, the alarm clock is getting system stability improvements too. If you want to see the patch notes in full, you can do so down below.

  • Added “Moderate Mode” as a new Mode option.
  • Added “Movement Record” as a new Records feature.

    • This will automatically display in Records if you go to bed during “Bedtime.”
    • You can set this to On or Off in the “Records” menu on the device.
  • “Distance from bed” can now be set to 20in/50cm max for Queen and King size beds.
  • When “Check Sensor Zone” is run, an estimated “position of movement” will now be displayed.
  • General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.
