Hit-and-run in Pineridge sends man to hospital with life-threatening injuries
Speed and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the collision
by Scott Strasser · Calgary HeraldA man was hospitalized after a hit-and-run in a Pineridge alleyway on Friday afternoon caused him life-threatening injuries.
And now, the Calgary Police Service is asking for public help in identifying the culprit.
The collision occurred at about 12:30 p.m., according to CPS, when a male pedestrian walking eastbound in the alleyway behind the 6700 block of 26th Avenue N.E. was struck by a newer-model white Jeep Cherokee.
